Spring Catalog
Objective
To create a spring catalog of all my own clothing, using all outdoor photography.
Ideation
This phase was full of gathering inspiration and layout options on Pinterest and creating a mood board to give a better understanding of the look and feel I wanted.
Photography
Next, I chose what outfits I wanted to include in the catalog and we shot photos at the prettiest local places we could find, from my own backyard to a flower field in Newberg.
Design Process
I originally went with a very simple layout and minimal work on the typography, but it felt like it was missing something.
Final Solution
I played more with the typography, got looser with my composition to add some visual interest, and wrote descriptions of each outfit based on real life events to add a personal touch. See below for more examples of spreads.
